ISIS Terrorists Say They Fear Only Israel, Not Britain or America

ISIS terrorists are not scared of the British or the Americans. They are intimidated only by the IDF, according to a journalist who interviewed the terrorists.

Israel is the only country in the world feared by the Islamic State (ISIS, IS) terror organization, said German reporter Jurgen Todenhöfer, the only Western journalist ever allowed access to the terrorists in Iraq, in an interview with the UK’s Jewish News on Sunday.

Todenhöfer spent 10 days with ISIS in Iraq and Syria, accompanied by his son Frederic. He returned with frightening insights. ISIS is “preparing the largest religious cleansing in history,” he said, adding that he has a “pessimistic” view on what can be done to combat it.

“The only country ISIS fears is Israel. They told me they know the Israeli army is too strong for them,” he said.

On Saturday, ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi scoffed at international efforts to decimate ISIS through airstrikes, while threatening Israel with pending attacks.
ISIS believes it can defeat allied troops on the ground. “They think they can defeat US and UK ground troops, who they say they have no experience in city guerrilla or terrorist strategies,” Todenhöfer explained, “but they know the Israelis are very tough as far as fighting against guerrillas and terrorists.”

“They are not scared of the British and the Americans, they are scared of the Israelis, and told me the Israeli army is the real danger. We can’t defeat them with our current strategy. These people [the IDF] can fight a guerrilla war,” he said.

Last this month, in a video in Hebrew, the terror group warned that “not one Jew will be left in Jerusalem or around it. We will continue until we eradicate this disease from the world.”
“ISIS considers its enemies to be all other ‘religions’ beside ISIS Islam,” Todenhöfer said in the interview. “They say Jews and Christians are accepted, but must pay the Jizya, [a special tax payed by non-Muslims living under Muslim rule].”

“They kill all the Shia Muslims they can get their hands on. I asked them if they were prepared to kill every Shia Muslim, and they scoffed: ‘150 million or 500 million, we don’t care, it’s only a technical problem for us. We are ready to do that.’”

ISIS has plans to conquer the West. “They are a very strong danger for Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Libya, while the West will be subjected to big acts of terrorism instead of a full-blown ISIS war because they say they don’t want too many battles at the same time,” the journalist explained.

Todenhöfer held Skype conversations for six months to seek guarantees for his safety should he make the trip. “The only reason why I was allowed to go wasn’t because I had built up special relations with them. I asked journalists to come with me, but nobody was prepared to go there. But I will never go back,” Todenhöfer concluded.

He published a book about his experiences, Inside IS – Ten Days in the Islamic State, which is available on Amazon.
