This is ridiculous! There is a GOP witch hunt to take down anyone who “challenges” the party. If it were not Donald, they would be blacklisting Ted Cruz!
The GOP has done everything in their power, which is apparently quite a lot, at this point to guarantee Donald Trump will not get the party nomination for president. Now they have gone as far as to change a major requirement necessary to get the party nomination.
RULE 40(B) – You must get a majority in at least 8 states to win the party nomination.
This rule was put into place in 2012 when Ron Paul’s campaign was picking up steam against Mitt Romney. To prevent Ron Paul from breaking the previous thresh hold of 6, the GOP changed the requirement, barely causing him to miss at the last minute.
Now, however, they are apparently in denial of the rule entirely, at least, when it comes to “the 2016 Republican National Convention.”
